James Bailey is a seasoned operations and marketing executive with experience across the private and public sectors, transitioning into General Management in 2020 to foster business growth and innovation in Healthcare. James is actively involved as a trustee at Marwell Wildlife, and enjoys running and cricket.

James Bailey is a seasoned operations senior executive with a solid background in marketing, complemented by significant experience in both the private and public sectors.
In 2020, James transitioned into General Management, where his well-rounded expertise in marketing and operations fostered innovation and business growth. At XMedical, he played a pivotal role in expanding clinic networks, securing UKAS accreditation, and making a strategic acquisition.
James's career journey is rich and varied, with roots in sports marketing at Durham County Cricket Club before moving onto the visitor attractions sector where he worked for iconic brands including London Zoo, Science Museum Group and Natural History Museum. His passion for wildlife and conservation led him to fulfill his dream as a safari guide in southern Africa and he is now active as a trustee at Marwell Wildlife.
Beyond his professional pursuits, James is a dedicated zoo advocate, a keen runner, and an enthusiastic cricketer.
