Leightons Fleet

Adam joined Leightons in 2005 as a Trainee Dispensing Optician in Camberley. After qualifying, he worked at the Reading branch as a Dispensing Optician until 2010, when he took on the management of the Addlestone branch. In 2016, he then rejoined Reading as the manager of the new store. Now he manages the team in Fleet.

Within a short time of joining I was on first name terms with Ryan, our current CEO and founder's grandson. We treat our customers in the same way - as individuals and members of our extended family."

During his time at the University of Southampton, Sijan spent much of his time researching and learning about the best hearing technology. After completing his Masters, Sijan decided to join the Leightons team, allowing him to take everything he has learned about patient care, and tailor it to each individual person, their hearing loss and their hearing requirements.
“I believe that working for Leightons will allow me to provide the best service to each individual, offering them as much time as they need to ensure their care is tailored to them. I also have the autonomy to use a range of hearing aid manufacturers, enabling me to offer each of my patients the best technology that is currently available.
During my spare time I involve myself with fundraising events. I have previously completed a half marathon on behalf of Action on Hearing Loss. I also enjoy hiking and kayaking.”

Natalie Joined Leightons in June 2020 and has enjoyed every minute of it. She qualified as an Optometrist in 2016 and after brief time with other Opticians, she has happily made Leightons her home. Outside of work Natalie is a avid thespian and regularly performs with Walton and Weybridge Amateur Operatic Society (WWAOS). She can’t help but bring her theatrical personality to work and is known as a witty and cheerful practitioner (and occasionally the “singing optometrist”, practicing her lines between patients!).

Ravdeep graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2014 and then continued her studies, completing a diploma in Medical Retina in 2018.
Rav joined the Leightons family to continue aiding her development and passion for optometry. She takes great pride in providing excellent patient care and working at Leightons allows her to achieve this.
Outside of work, Ravdeep values a healthy lifestyle and enjoys keeping fit in her free time. She also has a keen interest in fashion and travelling the world.

I started my optics career back in 2016 at just 16 years old working in another high-street optician. Since then, I have worked in many various roles and practices before becoming a Trainee Dispensing Optician in 2021. In 2022, for my second year of study, I relocated from my hometown of Oxford and joined the Leightons family.
I joined Leightons as it was clear from the start they put their patients’ needs and interests first, and the working and learning environment was key in my decision to make the jump. I am really enjoying the freedom and flexibility I can offer my patients. I'm looking forward to my future with Leightons and to all the fascinating things I'm going to learn.
In my spare time, I have a passion for cars and motorsport, as well as football. I also love technology and gadgets and like to keep up to date on the latest findings.

Philomena joined the Leightons family in February 2022. "I really enjoy working with my team, I am a go-getter, enthusiastic and very passionate about my job. My main priority is that the patient walks into the practice and walks out with a smile on their face. Outside of work I enjoy listening to music and meeting new faces."

Janette has worked for Leightons since July 2013 and had 2 years previous optical experience. I enjoy being part of the team and enjoy meeting and helping our patients. I live in Fleet and enjoy walking and meeting up with friends and family.

Joshua joins the Fleet team as an Optical Hearing Assistant having previously worked in the hospitality sector. It was that fast pace of work that helped Joshua develop his skills in customer service, and this is something that he prides himself on

Going to festivals, long walks in nature and looking after his fitness.

Debbie had worked in the optical industry for five years before deciding to venture into the world of audiology as a Wax Removal Clinician at Leightons.
Debbie loves life at Leightons because…
She is able to provide her patients with a service that can really change their hearing and day-to-day life. She also loves to build a rapport with all her patients and the opportunity to do so is something she finds very rewarding.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys…
Winding down in an evening with a bit of cross stitch, watching films (especially Marvel) and adores cats.
