Andrew has an MBA from the University of Southampton and is an ACMA qualified accountant. He has worked for Practice Plus Group for over 10 years and has held various roles within company including Commercial Manager based at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton for three years, Senior Finance Manager and more recently Senior Commercial Manager.

Andrew is an experienced operational leader and is passionate about providing an outstanding service for patients. In 2020 he became the Hospital Director of Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet.

In 2022, Andrew became the Hospital Director for both Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green and Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes.

Mr Dehne is actively involved in research related to the Enhanced Recovery Programme for patients following a hip or knee replacement, which aims to provide patients with a smoother recovery, along with various other subjects. You will find Mr Dehne’s research work published in many prestigious orthopaedic journals and presented in international and national meetings.

At Practice Plus Group, Mr Dehne believes in excellent bedside care and providing the patient with the best quality of life possible following surgical intervention. He takes joy in seeing the visible, direct and amazing impact that orthopaedic surgery can make on individuals’ day-to-day lives.

Philip has been a nurse for nearly 30 years and has a wide professional background. He has worked across the acute, community and charity sectors across London and Southern England in many senior roles including deputy director of nursing.

During his career Philip has worked in large acute hospitals managing emergency care, surgery (including ophthalmology, theatres, dental, pre-assessment, breast and endoscopy) and governance and patient safety departments.

Philip has a strong governance background, having qualified as a company secretary during that time, and has helped struggling organisations improve standards of care and CQC results. More recently, as part of the response to the national pandemic, he oversaw one the busiest vaccination centres in Surrey.

Sheryl joined Practice Plus Group as the General Manager in October 2021. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills from her career working in customer service environments, ranging from private sector financial services and facilities management, to public services in policing and the NHS.

Sheryl’s philosophy is the “customer” must be at the centre of all decisions and actions taken by us, for them. Applying this principle to the Surgical Centre, all adults can expect the highest level of patient-centric service.

Rebecca has been with Practice Plus Group since 2010 working at our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet in Somerset before joining Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green and Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes in 2020.

She qualified as a chartered certified accountant with CIMA in 2004 following the AAT qualification and has worked in a variety of industries including hospitality and insurance gaining a broad spectrum of commercial experience prior to joining Practice Plus Group.

Describing her role she said “It’s great to be part of a forward thinking and innovative organisation, always putting our patients first and delivering excellent patient care, my role is to ensure we maintain long term financial performance and sustainability so we can reinvest in our people, equipment and facilities thereby benefiting all our patients and staff.

Hannah has worked for Practice Plus Group since 2013, working across our hospitals in a variety of roles, including administration management and project management. Hannah has completed a HND in leadership and management, alongside healthcare management, and is a mental health first aider.

In her current role as operations manager, Hannah is responsible for the non-clinical aspects of Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green and Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes; including capacity planning, clinical supplies, hotel services, facilities, administration and private healthcare.

Chris has 18 years of human resources experience, having worked in senior positions across a variety of international and domestic private and not for profit industries. He holds expertise throughout the people function; including employee relations, resourcing, talent management, total rewards, HRIS and health and wellbeing.

Passionate about improving people practices and performance, Chris is responsible for HR matters throughout the South West region for the Practice Plus Group. His career is underpinned by an Executive MBA as well as possessing Chartered Fellowship of the CIPD.
