Dr Enam Abood is the founder of the Harley Street Health Centre Group. She has been practising medicine for 35 years and specialises in general and preventative medicine and weight management. Dr Abood is particularly interested in the management of chronic and weight-related health issues including diabetes, hypercholesterolaemia, hypertension and chronic back and joint pain.
Dr Ali Shakir was a practising psychotherapist for 20 years. He qualified in Transactional Analytical Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute. Now retired from individual work, he has developed a focus on group psycho-education, therapist training and corporate coaching with a special interest in mental health awareness in the workplace, psychological education for HR teams and managers, mindfulness in the workplace and management of work-related stress. He is a member of the Stress Management Institute and continues to be registered with BACP.
Dr Eldimarys Curry M. is a leading aesthetics doctor, skilled in a wide range of aesthetic treatments. She has over 27 years of clinical experience, primarily as a General Practitioner, with clinical experience in Cuba, Spain and the UK and also holds a Masters Degree in Aesthetic Medicine from the Universidad de las Islas Baleares (UIB), Mallorca, Spain – a leading centre in the development of Aesthetic Medicine theory and practice.
Dr Riffat Ara qualified as a physician in 1993. Before joining Harley Street Health Centre Group she spent 8 years working for the NHS. Having trained with the prestigious Oxford Deanery, Dr. Ara is experienced in A&E, General Medicine, Paediatrics and General Practice. She has been with our clinic since 2012 and has a special interest in general medicine, sexual health, women’s and children’s health.
Dr Mohseyni Qualified as a physician in 1994. He finished his training as a paediatrician in 1997 but decided to pursue a career in general practice and has been working in the NHS for the past 20 years. His special interest is in chronic disease management, women’s health and family planning.
